The 2016 Kreston EMEA Conference was held in Lisbon with 130 delegates in attendance drawn from 31 countries including out-of region members from Australia, Hong Kong , India and the United States.
Kreston Chairman, Bent Kofoed, opened the Conference and announced the appointment of Dagmar Brösztl-Reinsch of Kreston Bansbach as Kreston European Regional Secretary. The full business programme commenced with an update from Kreston CEO, Jon Lisby on the networks performance and development strategy.
Firm presentations were received from host members Iberaudit Kreston Portugal and Amavel Calhau, Ribeiro da Cunha together with introductions from new members Bentecara Netherlands, Net-SFS-Kreston Albania and Kreston IL Group Israel.
Sam Wright from USA member, CBIZ MHM provided reviewed a number of Kreston’s Cross Border Transaction Advisory projects in progress and spoke of the further pipeline opportunities before delegates attended separate tax and audit breakouts. The business programme closed with a presentation on winning and retaining international clients within the network
The social programme included delegates and companions engaging in team play in four wheel drive vehicles in the hills of the Serra de Sintra before enjoying a final traditional Fado dinner.
